Bad Bacteria
Pathogenic- Pathogenic bacteria are bacteria that can cause infections as well as many diseases and are also harmful to the human body. Common types of pathogenic bacteria include streptococcus and staphylococcus.
Good Bacteria
Non-pathogenic-Is completely harmless to the body and are incapable of causing disease. For example, non-pathogenic E. coli are E. coli bacteria that do not cause disease, but instead live naturally in the large intestine causing no harm to the intestine as it resides there.
